Great article and much needed topic. I still see people running discovery research asking users if they like their product ๐Ÿ˜ซ

I particularly like your analogy to the puzzle box! Speaking to your customer is so much needed to know what to build.

Thanks for sharing your insights

I'd love to read a follow up on this piece. How should founders start their discovery process? What should they focus on first? Excellent work, Joshua. Truly enjoyed reading it and am hungry for more.

Thank you so much Vic! I'm really glad I could help.

To help me learn, may I ask what you enjoyed specifically about this week's article? E.g. the writing style, transparency or ideas shared

And so it's clear for me, the follow up would focus on the steps after what this article talks about right? 1. Idea > Build conversations, 2. Solution discovery process

๐Ÿ™Œ Cheers

Hi Joshua,

A couple of things stood out for me:

1. I'm glad you wrote about this topic. My biggest challenge working with startups is convincing them of the value of doing proper discovery. Your writing helps in the process. ๐Ÿ™‚

2. You had definitely done your research and presented it in an engaging way. I like your style and the examples you give.

I hope this help. Looking forward to the next one.
